Canyoneering Tidwell Canyon – Rope Retrieval & Crack Canyon Rain

Last time around, Tim and I hiked through Tidwell slot canyon in Southern Utah in the dead of winter [Documented Here] and managed to get our rope along with the pull cord stuck on one 200ft rappel. I reached out to other canyoneering peeps via and gathered a small crew to head back down and see if the ropes were still living on the cliff ledge. Turns out a party had gone through and extended the rappel along with taking the ropes but it still was one hell of a trip. Roughly 18 miles, 14 hours, and five rappels. A smaller and much more enjoyable day trip down Crack Canyon the week before. Anna, Avenue, and myself all snugged inside the Trango 3 while the rain decided to poor! Here are the photos from both adventures! Enjoy.
